CoCo Key Mt. Laurel

Overview:

Riding the wave of popularity (if you'll pardon the pun), the original developers of the CoCo Key Water Resorts opened a chain of indoor water park hotels, hit some rough waters (sorry for the second pun), and sold off the properties. The Mt. Laurel location s now independently owned and operated but remains more or less the same as the other CoCo Keys.

They are all medium-sized indoor waterparks themed to 1930's-era Key West. Unlike larger parks, such as the Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos, CoCo Key does not offer high-profile attractions like uphill water coasters or indoor wave pools. It does, however, offer body slides, a couple of 2-person raft slides, a lazy river, and an indoor/outdoor spa. In its center is the colorful Parrot's Perch, an interactive water play center with smaller slides and a tipping bucket.

For younger children there are some kiddo-sized water activities. In addition to the indoor water park, CoCo Key includes a video arcade and party rooms. Given its lack of thrill rides, the park is probably geared mostly to families with children 12 and under.

The adjoining Hotel Mt. Laurel offers 283 guest rooms, meeting facilities, function rooms, a fitness room, and a restaurant.
