Everything Old is New Again at Six Flags in 2012 Dec 13th 2011, 15:34 As with the rest of the parks industry, 2012 is going to be a big year for Six Flags. The chain has promised that every new park will be getting something new next season. Indeed, there are some incredible rides on the way, including the unique Superman Ultimate Flight coaster at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and the (figuratively and quite possibly, literally) breathtaking Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom at Six Flags Magic Mountain. But other "new" rides will really be old -- in some cases, considerably old -- rides moved and recycled from one park to another. Still, there are some bold, wild rides coming to many of the parks. (And to be fair, some of the reshuffled rides should be big hits at their new locations.)
