Haunted houses will include CornStalkers and Grave Stalkers, as well as the show, Harley Neuman Professional Lunatic. For younger kids, the park will offer Boo Blast with scare-free activities such as trick-or-treating, a funhouse, and a Charlie Brown musical show.

Hersheypark in the Dark

Hey, who could possibly be more of an authority on trick-or-treating than the Hershey folks, right? There aren't any hanuted houses, but Hershey will offer the shows, Bunsen and the Burners and Screaming Mummies as well as trick-or-treating. At the adjacent ZooAmerica, guests can bring flashlights to observe the nocturnal habits of animals at Creatures of the Night.

Idlewild is geared to the pre-teen crowd, so it's no surprise that its Halloween event steers clear of the usual gore. Instead, the park will feature trick-or-treating, themed rides, and shows such as DJ Ghoul's Dance Party. The official site has info about hotel packages.

The park goes to the dark side with Halloween features such as the haunted mazes, Biofear, Villa of the Vampires and Mortern Manor, and scare zones including Kennyville Cemetery. Rides, including Noah's Ark, get a spook-tastic makeover.
