CoCo Key Orlando opens its water parks to registered hotel guests as well as to the general public. Unlike most water park resorts, room rates do not include admission to the park. Special water park rates are available for hotel guests. Discounted rates and packages may be available online at CoCo Key's Web site.
Day passes are available to the general public based on availability. Discounted rates offered for Florida residents as well as for guests arriving 4 p.m. and later. Group rates as well as birthday party and special event packages, including party rooms, are also available.

From I-4E (coming from Walt Disney World for example): Take Exit 74A, SR-482/Sand Lake Rd. toward International Drive. Turn right onto FL-482, then left onto International Drive. CoCo Key is on the left.
From I-4W (coming from downtown Orlando for example): Take Exit 75A (on the left) to FL-435S/S. Kirkman Rd. toward International Drive. Turn right onto International Drive. CoCo Key is on the right.

CoCo Key Water Resort Orlando Overview:
CoCo Key Water Resorts is a chain of indoor water park hotels with locations throughout the U.S. The Orlando CoCo Key is the first one in Florida. Unlike the other CoCo Key Resorts, the Orlando property features an outdoor water park instead of a weatherproof indoor park.
Typically, CoCo Key has opened its Key West-themed water parks in northern climes such as the Midwest and New England, offering visitors a simulated Florida getaway. The Key West theme, however, is right at home in Orlando. Rather than offering a mid-winter respite to frozen New Englanders, the Orlando CoCo Key offers Florida visitors some water park fun.
The highlight of CoCo Key is its medium-sized waterpark. While it lacks the signature attractions found at larger water park resorts, such as bowl rides, surfing rides, or water coasters, it offers many of the usual water park suspects. It features body slides and tube slides with names such as Boomerango and Surfer Splash and a whirlpool spa. It also offers the Parrot's Perch interactive water play center with smaller slides, sprayers and other water gizmos, and a tipping bucket.
A zero-entry toddler pool helps keep very young guests and their parents happy, while a dedicated teen pool provides a place for tweens and teens to call their own. Without major thrill rides, however, the park is ideally geared to families with children under the age of 12.
The outdoor water park has a large canopy over it so that guests are able to frolic on the slides even when one of Orlando's notorious afternoon showers blows through. Other activities include an arcade with redemption games.
The business model for CoCo Key has been to purchase existing, slightly distressed hotels in major markets, remodel them, and graft a water park onto them. The Orlando CoCo Key is no different. The company purchased the failed Legacy Orlando Grand Resort condo-hotel, which was formerly known as the Orlando Grand Plaza, and converted it into the 373-room CoCo Key Hotel. It is the first hotel in the chain to wear the CoCo Key name. (CoCo Key's other resorts partner with third-party brands such as Sheraton and Holiday Inn.) The water park's colorful Key West theme extends to the hotel side of the facility, another first for the Orlando property.
Other hotel features include the TradeWinds restaurant, a fitness center, and complimentary transportation to Universal Orlando and SeaWorld.
