Granted, the park offers a coaster, spinning rides, and other attractions typically found at parks. But the relatively small Sesame Place foregoes the hyper-adrenalized atmosphere of a Six Flags in favor of a more low-key vibe. Reflecting the whimsy of the show and its Muppet stars, it features unique opportunities to visit mock-ups of the famous street and interact with the iconic, cuddly characters. And like the show, there are some "edutainment" attractions such as a fruit stand that encourages kids to pick out produce and ring up their sales. Don't forget your bathing suits. In addition to the dry rides, Sesame Place offers a good collection of water slides and other water park attractions, including Big Bird's Rambling River, the family raft ride Sky Splash, and a mini wave pool that's ideal for mini guests.
