Overview:

Like the other CoCo Key Water Resorts (the chain of US indoor water parks are, for the most part, essentially the same) the Kansas City location is comparatively average in size. Unlike larger parks, such as some of the behemoths found in Wisconsin Dells, it lacks bigger slides and standout attractions such as a water coaster or funnel ride.

It does, however, offer two body slides, a couple of 2-person raft slides, a lazy river, and an indoor/outdoor spa. It also offers an interactive water play center with small slides and a tipping bucket. The "Dip-In Theatre," a shallow pool with a nonstop display of movies and cartoons, sounds like a decent idea, but the soundtrack is all but drowned out by the din of the water park and its hooting and hollering visitors. In addition to the indoor water park, the property includes a video arcade and party rooms.

The water park is themed to 1930's-era Key West. The adjacent Holiday Inn Kansas City Sports Complex, however, is themed to...a Holiday Inn. It offers 374 guest rooms, meeting facilities, function rooms, a fitness room, and a restaurant.
