Disney's Art of Animation is Sweet-Looking New Hotel Jan 10th 2012, 18:15 It's not scheduled to open until May, but I got a sneak peek at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, the latest hotel at Walt Disney World. Like Disney's other Value Resorts, Art of Animation will feature oversized statuary and whimsical themeing; in this case, the Disney and Pixar films, Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid will provide the inspiration. Unlike Disney's other Value Resorts, Animation will be the first to offer family suites -- which I think is a great idea and overdue for Disney World. And the Value price should be appreciated by visitors on a budget. I got some shots of the Finding Nemo courtyard, which is still under construction, but mostly finished.
